I remember my mother's prayers and they have always followed me. They have clung to me all my life. ~Abraham Lincoln
I was my Mother's fattest kid! I was "pudgy bunz"! (Look at my Kankles!!! Those things are awesome.) I was my Mother's 9th baby! By the time I came around she was so used to having babies around, she already had a first grand baby and two more on the way when I was born! The first memory I have of my Mom was her nurturing nature. I remember crying in my crib and she came to pick me up. She sang "Bilo-baby-bunting, daddy's gone a hunting. To fetch a little rabbit skin, to wrap our baby Jana in".
The next Memory I have of my mother is walking into her bedroom when I was young and seeing her on her knees in prayer. I knelt down by her and folded my arms. She was praying silently, but when I knelt down by her side she began to pray vocally. She began to pray for me. I remember smiling. I know she wanted me to know how important it was to kneel in prayer and talk to my Heavenly Father.

What a wonderful example my Mother has been to me through out my life. Her constant guidance and council even when I might have thought she was wrong and wanted to do things my way. She has always followed the spirit and has guided me to become the woman I am today. I am so thankful she has. I am constantly amazed by my Mother's intelligence and her wonderful attributes. She always puts others before herself. She treats everyone like they are her sister or brother. I have always been in awe of her ability to show love. I love this attribute about her and have tried to emulate it.

Her Children and her grandchildren adore her. She is constantly working behind the scenes at family gatherings to make things fun and exciting. She always gives 110% in everything she does. She has taught her children and grandchildren the importance of work. She is the hardest worker I know, still to this day and she is 74. Whenever someone is in need, she is there to help. My Mother also has a great imagination. She constantly is on the floor playing with her grandchildren, whether it's with Legos or whether it's light saber fighting.
My Mother is my Hero. I would love to be like her in every way! I love you Mom! Happy Mother's Day!
